How many types of
sciences exist? They’re a lot of them, but I’ll explaining three types of
sciences and three of their branches. The first one is Biological science; is
the study of the living organisms. One of the branches is Biology. This science
is concerned with the study of life and living organisms, including their
structure, function, growth, evolution, distribution, and taxonomy. The second
one is Ecology; the scientific study of interaction of organisms with one
another and with the physical and chemical environment. The last ones is
Botany; is a discipline of biology and the science of plant life.
The next type of
science is the Physical. This science studies the physics and chemistry of
nature. One of the branches is Physics, often described as the study of matter
and energy. Another type of branch is Chemistry. This science studies the
composition, properties and behaviors of matter. The third one is Astronomy;
the study of the origin and evolution of the Universe, the physics and
chemistry of celestial objects, and the calculation of their positions and
motions.
Earth science is the
branch of science dealing with the constitution of the earth and its
atmosphere. Meteorology is one type of earth science. This branch is concerned
with the processes and phenomena of the atmosphere. Geology is also a branch of
earth science. This science studies the Earth, its processes, its materials,
its history, and its effect on humans and life in general. Another one is
Oceanography, also called oceanology or marine science; is the branch of earth
science that studies the ocean.
The last one is Social
science. This branch refers to the academic disciplines concerned with society
and human nature. One of the social sciences is Anthropology. This science
studies the humans, past and present. Another branch is Psychology, is an
academic discipline that involves the scientific study of mental functions and
behaviors. The third one is Sociology; the study of the development, structure,
and functioning of humans society.
Science is extremely
important. Thanks to science we know fascinated things and we improve every
day. In the future we are going to able to cure a lot of diseases. I hope that
they can also change the type of energy to help the environment. Even though
science can defer with the believers of God; the majority believe in both.
